It's fascinating how many transliterations of his name there are. As someone with a certain familiarity with the Arabic alphabet, I prefer Ghaddafi, although of course there are problems with that as well.

In Polish, he's just Kaddafi, with almost no other versions, although in a transcription it should be QadAfii.

Btw, why so frequently "Al-" is missing?

And of course I am not saying this applies to all Irish-Americans, but it most certainly applies to far more than one would hope. I've noticed more sane Irish-Americans tend to be as irritated by these type of dipsh!ts as I am.

Dude there are probably a lot of other corrupt world leaders who supplied the IRA besides Gadaffi.  Besides what is it with your obsession with the IRA anyway man?  I mean there are lots of other overrated terrorist groups out there that probably get unworthy praise from ethnic Americans.
