La Francophonie and The Commonwealth of Nations survivors - Vietnam supervivor !

With these 2 new survivors, La Francophonie and The Commonwealth of Nations, I want us to have fun by applying similar rules to those I picked in my Chess World champions & challengers survivor.

RULES:

Stage one:
There are 4 groups of 14 countries: I've tried to balance the groups, in terms of size and location of the countries. Nothing is perfect, though .

Like in a tournament, there will be 13 rounds in which each country will fight against every other country of its group. Then, we'll eliminate 8 countries in each group, those with the smallest total of points.
Decided by your combined votes in matches, each fight will result in 2 points (victory), 1 point (tie), 0 point (defeat).

Stage two:
The remaining 24 countries will fight in play-off matches, depending on their ranking at the end of the tournament. 12 will then be eliminated and the remaining 12 will fight again in play-off matches. 6 will be eliminated.

Stage three:
The remaining 6 will play in a mini-tournament of 5 rounds. We'll then eliminate 4 of them.

Stage four:
The remaining 2 will play a final match and we'll then decide a winner.

For fun, we could even have a super-finale between La Francophonie survivor and The Comonwealth of Nations survivor. But this wouldn't count in the Survivor Hall of Fames .

LISTS OF COUNTRIES:

I needed 56 countries in each survivor.
With "associate" members, it gives 56 in La Francophonie.
In The Commonwealth, I've included the suspended member (Fiji), but also the former members: Ireland and Zimbabwe. It's funnier like this, though .

I hope you'll enjoy these survivors.

My main problem now is that I'll spend a lot of time in countings .
As I'll give results of each round, but also provisional rankings, so that we'll be able to follow these survivors like real championships .

Sorry guys for not updating this this week-end, but I was in Paris testerday doing some tourism and today, I eat & drink a lot .

In the rules, I've forgotten to write that, after stage one, in case of a tie, I'll look at the number of victories,
then at the number of points gathered in each match (goal average if you want: so, each of your point may count),
then at the result of matches between the countries which are tied.

After play-off matches of stage two, I'll take into account the results in stage one, as above, and if needed, we'll have another vote with preferences.

Stage three will work as stage one.

In case of a tie in the final round, I'll take into account the results in stage three, and then, if needed, I'll gather all the previous results, both in tournaments and play-off matches.
