Statement From the President

Yesterday evening, we learned that three Atlasians, James Haverbrook, Michelle Brock, and Harold Katenbaum were killed by the forces of Colonel Gaddafi. My heart goes out to the family of the victims. These Atlasians died for their country, and for an honorable cause, and I am extremely saddened by their deaths. My prayers go out as well to the remaining Atlasians who were injured in this attack.

We began this operation to aide the people of Libya not too long ago, and I remain confident we will remain successful in our quest to restore democracy and fight oppression in this region.

Statement From the President

Good Afternoon,

I'm pleased to report to the Atlasian people that after months of negotiations, a deal has been reached with the Chinese government, ending all threats from the Chinese government to stop financing our debt. When I was elected as President, I pledged to get this crisis solved, and we have been able to successfully avert an economical catastrophe, as the Chinese government has accepted our offer.

I want to offer my sincere appreciation to the Chinese government with their cooperation in this matter, and I look forward to working with the Chinese many more times in the future.
