Good Evening,

Today, we recieved reports that one of the main leaders of Al Qaeda has been captured.  First of all, I want to thank the Pakistani and Afghani security forces for working so quickly to capture him. Secondly, I wish to thank Mustafa al-Nabeel, leader of the operation, for ensuring no civilian casualties along the way.  Finally, I want to formally request that Pakistan extradite Mr. al-Zawahiri to Atlasia in order to stand trial for crimes committed on Atlasian soil. It is my prayer that Pakistan works with us to achieve this, so that the full extent of his crimes and the wrongness of his ideas be displayed for all to see and he will receive the punishment he deserves.

I hate vetoing this, because I think the original purpose of it was so strong. I think it's important, especially with success in the regions, that we begin a plan to phase out of Iraq within the coming months/years, as well as develop a set plan for Afghanistan.

We're going into a territory here that has barely been covered in Atlasia, oddly enough. Will certainly be a wake-up call to many Atlasians, who reckoned we were out of both places.

Good Evening,

I was saddened to hear the news this morning of tragedy in the Imperial Dominion of the South and Mideast Regions. The IDS has always been very close to my heart, and the Mideast Region is my home. My heart now goes out to the victims of the tornadoes that struck through the regions yesterday evening. This weekend, I will personally be visiting the IDS and Mideast, assessing the damage and meeting with victims.

The Atlasian Government is prepared to help the both regional governments with relief in any way we can. I hereby order FEMA to the devastated areas to help with the catastrophe that struck the regions.

The people of the IDS and Mideast are in my thoughts and prayers, and I ask all Atlasians to join me in thinking and praying for the regions. Thank you, and Dave Bless.

Good question, Senator, and thank you for asking.

Yes, SoEA Benconstine, myself, and Badger have been in talks about what strategy we should maintain in the regions. Lief will also be involved in discussion. I am hoping for a withdrawal to begin in Iraq in the very near future, as well as Afghanistan soon after. Once we have our decision set in stone either myself or Ben will give a speech on the issue.

The President will be making a statement at some point tomorrow regarding the killing of Osama Bin Laden.

(Yeah, I would do it tonight, but I figure no one's really concerned about Atlasia at this moment and are celebrating a victory for America. And it's late.)

Good Evening,

This will be brief. I'd like to inform Atlasia that within several days, the administration will be outling our plans for Afghanistan and Iraq. Our plans have certainly been altered with the killing of Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden. We believe the course of action we will be taking is in the best interests of this nation, and we look forward to releasing our plans in the near future.

Good Evening,

Tonight, my fellow Atlasians, we received devastating word a little over two hours ago that the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri has been bombed. The federal government is currently waiting as more information piles in, but our hearts and prayers go out to the families of the victims of this tragedy. The federal government is ready to send any sort of aid needed to the St. Louis area as we learn more of what happened.

It is of vital importance that we find out who was responsible for this attack on American soil. And when we find them, they will pay for this.

It will be a top priority in our administration to find who was responsible for this terrible attack and make sure they pay for what they have done to many innocent Atlasians.
