Discuss.

I will eat a Schnitzel today, so yes (it seems I´m a bad Christian then, but I don't care).

Which is just as stupid (or perhaps slightly more stupid) than abstaining from meat...but if it makes you happy...

People love to make a point.  Mrs. M3 is like Shua.....she doesn't eat meat (well, rarely she'll eat some chicken).  Me?  I just choose not to follow any lenten tradition but I'm not making a point.

The meat thing comes from the Church helping local fishermen back in the day. (The more you know, cue rainbow)

And no, I have not eaten meat and do not plan on it.

No, I was just fooling around. I'll eat meat today no matter what, though.

I'll probably forget and eat some anyways.  Not that I care that much.

It was odd seeing Tony Reali with ash on his face during Around the Horn and Pardon the Interruption today - I didn't know he was religious.

I thought it was just no oil, or is that just a Greek thing? On Ash Wednesday at the fish and chip shop we'd only cook grilled fish, without oil.

I actually had a priest explain that if your seafood is better than your non-seafood / meat (like it is in Louisiana), then it defeats the purpose of abstaining from meat.
