Wasn't as difficult to draft as I expected. Nor as wordy as I feared. Changes underlined.

Straight forward. The GM's Office retains co-jurisdiction with the Secretaries in the new areas of authority granted them under this bill in case the GM wants to also spur some activity or storylines there, and likewise if there is irreconcilable disagreement over a story or other decision made pursuant to this bill, the GM's Office would have final authority to resolve the dispute as is consistent with the Office's historical role.

Let the President break the ties!!! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

JK, your proposed amendment is acceptable to me.

Senators have 24 hours to object to the President's amendment.

I'm very sorry, we're inferior beings and we can't possibly devote three straight nights to write a highly-detailed bill of twenty pages lenght in Microsoft Word.

Are you kidding me, this old "you do too much, nerd alert!!!" attack? The fact that such an attack is used seriously is kind of sad. And besides, when the hell was I referring to you here at all, anyway? Talk about "jumping on every opportunity to criticize" someone. Sheesh.

I don't think this is an attack on you, Kal, but more on me. Instead of actually trying to help find solutions like most of us are doing, Marokai is more focused right now on finding every opportunity to criticize me.

That being said, I'm serious - If anyone has a problem or concern with this bill, please let it be known now. But I feel we've done a pretty good job covering about every concern that has been voiced thus far.

The idea that you would have a comeback to criticism with "well if you have a better idea, propose it!" is dumb, since the amendment you just proposed was basically something I brought up as a comment in this very thread, like, 8 days ago. During that time nothing moved and no one formally proposed anything.

I suppose if people want to actually use the "you do too much, loser!" attack on me for proposing people more faster than 8 days for an amendment, you can go for it, but the fact of the matter is this is moving pitifully slowly and you can take plenty of the blame for not taking a more constant and consistent hands on approach.

Thank God for Badger, at least.

I'm not attacking you, Marokai. I know the GM position is important to you, after all, you had originally applied for it. I may not like you very well personally, but I think you're a very intelligent and knowledgeable person, especially in this specific field, and I'd be more than happy to have more of your insight on the matter.

I welcome both praises and criticisms to my administration, and I'll take it to heart and try to do a better job than I'm currently doing.

Since there were no clear objections, I assume amendment is passed automatically.

That was my impression, which should mean this bill is acceptable to all factions and can now be voted on (hint, hint).

There is a problem here. Badger's underlined changes never got introduced as amendment by a Senator. Damn it.

The amendment I declared passed was tmth's from several days ago.

Then once this bill passes, just introduce the Amendment by itself as a new bill.

I wouldn't object to this. With everything currently going on right now, I'd like for this bill to be enacted ASAP.

does it matter that Antonio considered Badger's changes a friendly amendment?

If Badger was a Senator, then I could have engaged in some sly trickery using my announcement of passage for two amendments instead of one since more than 24 hours passed since Antonio accepted the non-existant amendment as friendly. Its the lack of proper introduction here.

And no Senator even quoted it to comment. The President did, but not a Senator. If a Senator had I could have treated that as an introduction.
