OUCH.  It looks like it hit close to Tokyo too, so this could get REALLY bad if a Tsumani is formed.

Commercial news is ridiculous.

Channel 9: 1 minute on Japan, then onto Fevola.

Channel 7: 2 and a bit minutes on Japan, then Brendan Fevola, Jim Stynes, Charlie Sheen, train disruptions, traffic congestion, Tyler Cassidy...

ABC News 24: Rolling coverage of Japan, but without any new info/pics for 5 minutes

Now on to Channel 10...

---------------

Best wishes to the people of Japan and the northern Pacific.

Second wave just hit.

Most of the Western Pacific has a tsunami watch or warning.

Praying for everybody over in Japan and the Western Pacific right now... hopefully now that the warning is out, anybody further away has time to get to further ground.

They also added the rest of the Pacific, does that include the West Coast as well?

Hawaii is currently the only state with a warning.

NHK have said warnings for Chile and Peru.I'd be surprised if that didn't cover Alaska through Mexico too.

Luckily, if it reaches the Americas, it wouldn't be as severe, so South America would hae the least to worry about.
