Interesting...it's a university poll though so I can't vouch for its accuracy.

But Bush win NJ? I seriously doubt that... really seriously... oh and... did i say I'm fairly dubious of such a poll?

But seriously... ahh you know what I'm going to say  Smiley

I'm an optimist, but I give Bush about 0.001% chance in NJ

Thanks got it...

But how does a poll showing a majority of people against the war in Iraq,  believing the country is on the wrong track and in a state where Gore won by nearly 16% give Bush an advantage? I really don’t place much faith in the poll…

And I becoming ever more pessimistic… ahh John Edwards where have you gone?!?!?....

[goes off and dreams of the contest and tickets that could have been]

This poll doesn't make any sense....They have 19% undecided without Nader in the race, but only 3% undecided with Nader in the race.  How can Kerry's AND Bush's support go UP when you include Nader?

Normally I'd break this poll out to look at the numbers, but Bush +4 in New jersey...  Some results speak for themselves.. Cheesy

Three points...

It's a University Poll...

I think Bush has a chance in New Jersey.  Since 2000, increasing numbers of voters have identified themselves as republicans.  In the 2003 elections there, republicans received the majority of votes cast statewide although democrats did win control of the state legislature due to gerrymandering.  I don't know what Bush's approval rating is there, but I don't think it would be out of the question for him to win it in November.

LOL!  Governor McGreevey's approval rating is at 28%, and despite of that, the Democrats won the legislature back!  Gore won this state by 16%, and Bush has no chance here in 2004.

The governor is THAT low?  I haven't heard anything that he's done......which is prolly why its at 28.

Don't get your hopes up reps, the people of NJ have a problem with the governor, not the democratic party.  Kerry will get 60% here in November.

I think that the requisite 20% margin is more important than the actual 60% tally.

I think Kerry will win by at least 20% in:
CT, DE, DC, HI, MD, MA, NJ, NY, and RI.

I think Bush will win by at least 20% in:
AK, ID, MT, NE, ND, SD, UT, and WY.

I don't hate Nader for running but it is obvious that his ego is huge. If he really doesn't like Bush then he should realize that he is helping him win by running. He proved his point last election, why does he want to do it again?

Of course Kerry will win NJ, but he will do less well than Gore did there.  There are lot more aimless swing voters in NJ than in many solid states.
