It's still getting love and attention from Santorum.  Isn't that enough?

How can they expect candidate visits when there aren't any candidates yet?

Nevada is one of the first four primary/caucus states.

Umm... isn't that a technicality?  Iowa & New Hampshire are getting plenty of attention.

Nevada is one of the first four primary/caucus states.

...and one where Mitt Romney is heavily favored.  The other candidates, assuming Romney might have this in the bag, don't want to oversell Nevada's competitiveness and have Romney's win there look like a big deal

Not everyone has forgotten about South Carolina.  Wonder if he'll try a fake Indian accent when he calls Nikki to fish for an endorsement.

I think you're confusing him with Biden and Hillary. If Haley is endorsing anyone it is going to be Romney.

SC is pretty important, it can be the tie-breaker between the winner of IA and the winner of NH. Is SC still going to be the third state. However this year I would not be surprised if we saw three different winners for the first three states. Something like IA: Pawlenty (unless Palin or Huck get in), NH: Romney, SC: Barbour.

That could make FL the most important state - finally validating Rudy Giuliani

Giuliani was right but he did it the wrong way, and ironically its Mittens that will be doing what he did, only the right way. Which is to compete in and win atleast one of IA/NH/SC before going to FL. You have to get to FL and you can't if you are driven from the field.

Incidentally, Gov. Haley proposed stripping out the $1 million in State funding for the primary and leave it to the parties to pay for it, but the House has rejected that idea. (link - The State) I wonder if she'll try to line item veto the appropriation when it finally reaches her desk?  The budget passed the House 77-42 on a party line vote, so that might be one veto that can be sustained if the Democrats decide to support Haley on this.
