Just for fun: A list of former Presidents against Obama in 2012.

1. Reagan
2. Eisenhower
3. Coolidge
4. Ford
5. Nixon
6. Teddy Roosevelt
7. Taft

Who wins in each scenario?

Assuming a similar climate to today:

1. Reagan in a squeaker.
2. Eisenhower in a landslide.
3. Obama in a landslide after he ties Calvin to the Great Depression.
4. Obama.
5. Obama, though it would be a messy electoral map. Progressives might slide to Tricky Dick.
6. Teddy in a landslide, the Tea Party commits ritual suicide.
7. Obama.

Are people still familiar with their terms as president?

Are they as racist/sexist etc. as they were in their own times?

1. Reagan wins 49 states (loses Minneasota and DC)
2. Ike in a squeaker
3. Silent Cal wins 48 states (though Illinois would be close due to pro civil rights stance of Coolidge)
4. Obama in a squeaker but loses Michigan
5. Obama beats Nixon due to Conservative third party
6. Three way  Tie (Conservative third party)
7. Could go either way

Assuming people are familiar with their terms as president and they are as racist/sexist as they were in their own times:

1. Reagan
2. Ike
3. Obama
4. Toughie... I'll say Obama
5. Obama
6. Obama (TR would finish behind third parties once his "interesting" views became widely publicized)
7. Obama

1. One win for the Gipper, it would be a massive landslide.
2. Another landlside not in Obama's favor thanks to Eisenhowerr winning about 400 electoral votes
3. Obama by about one electoral and one popular vote.
4. Obama in a lanslide
5. Nixon in a landslide in electoral yet not popular vote.
6. Roosevelt's populist views will lead to him winning every state and D.C.
7. Obama in a nice margin yet far from a landslide.
