Actually the tentacles extend a bit beyond the city of Pittsburgh, in one instance about 100 miles all the way up to New Castle. And I am hurt,
hurt
I tell you, that Mr. Doyle thinks nobody is going to care about my maps. How would you feel if someone like him said that about you?
We shall see. I think Mr. Doyle does indeed have tentacles in his future!
Thanks Brittain33 for finding the article. I knew it was coming out soon, but not exactly when, until I saw your thread.

You've told your parents about your maps, BRTD? lol. Well I guess that's better than trying to use it to impress girls

I had to delete that pic, since Inksy issued a death point for it.

I didn't want to ruin my unblemished record of no death points. Law and order every time, you know.

care, Torie. It's a shame you weren't able to eliminate Doyle instead.

Any article that doesn't mention Lewis Trondheim by name is considered a joke by me.

Aww I would have been in this if I hadn't been out of cell phone range over Christmas break
I had an interview arranged and everything!
Oh well. Good to see you guys make it in, Torie and BRTD!

The Show Me State will lose a congressional seat this year because of slow population growth. Mr. Miller's map would put Democratic Rep. Russ Carnahan of St. Louis out of a job come 2012.
A spokeswoman for Mr. Carnahan said: "
We are always thrilled to hear people are so engaged in the democratic process that they're staying up late at night looking at congressional maps.
"
Lol, most backhanded compliment ever.

Yeah, I couldn't help but garner the impression the whole article was subtley contemptuous. Any sort of article covering hobbyists is usually spun as "hey, look at these losers!"

Awesome! I didn't expect the article to be nearly as sarcastic or contain anything as beautiful as "gorgeous octopus." Well done, you two.
