He seemed extremely awkward. He dooesn't have to part the sea, but he could do a lot better.

Yeah he has some unusual and far off views but they have very little chance of happening. I'm kind of surprised he won, but not really due to the backlash against Obama. Kentucky was going to vote republican. I think the democrats have a decent chance to defeat him in 2016 with a decent candidate. Although he would be favored to win. He really doesn't seem to be a great fit at all for Kentucky though. Plus he is better senator than the one he replaced.
