Remember, who wins, not who you would vote for.

You pick the Republican vice presidential candidate, but try to keep it reasonable.

Whoops, I meant to vote for Pawlenty.

If they were running in a vaccuum, Obama by a landslide.  Unfortunately for the Democratic Party, gas is set to hit $5 by next summer.  And we all know who the American people blame for these things....

I think a T-Paw/Daniels ticket would be strong

No way that Obama/Biden carry Virginia and North Carolina and not Minnesota. Remember Minnesota hasn't voted Republican since '72...I don't see Wisconsin flipping either, but if it's one or the other, it's Wisconsin...

Obama/Biden: 53.5%           377
Pawlenty/Wacko 44.8 %      161

I would say I'm being generous to Pawlenty given current economic forecasts/trends going into 2012...Remember, Tim Pawlenty is known for NOTHING...what did he actually do as governor of Minnesota? I am still waiting for an answer to that question... Furthermore, he is the most boring politician since Bob Dole...

Of course the state of the economy and world will matter more than who the Republican nominee is.  With Obama's approvals what they are today, he basically repeats the 08 map minus one maybe two states.  But Pawlenty as nominee instead of another not Palin affects the race little.

Excluding the next two years, it's close but Obama, no matter Pawlenty's VP.

Even if that ticket doesn't win, it'll make plenty of money once the FDA approves them as a treatment for insomnia.
