Is there anyway he could be convinced to run? He has has an excellent record in public service, and I could see him being a much better candidate than many of the likely Republican candidates right now.

Never heard of him 'til now, but he's Catholic and apparently wants to legalize Poker in Idaho, so that's two good things.

He's a junior member of the Senate, a total backbencher, and is 67 years old. Not going to happen.

IDK about Jim Risch, but I see Mike Crapo and Mike Johanns from Nebraska as a good candidates.
