I would say that Oklahoma is part of the real south. The state is heavily Dixiecrat, the home of Dan Boren and Toby Keith and is definitely not part of the Southwest or Great Plains. I would say the South is the Old Confederacy (WV included) + OK + KY + MO?

MO is more of a Midwestern state. Well, in the Southern part of MO you'll be in Hick Town, but not in the rest of it.

I don't know, I guess Oklahoma can be considered a southern state.  I always thought we were more like the retarded cousin of Kansas, but whatever.  I don't think it really matters in the long run, it isn't like rednecks only exist in the Southland.
