Eliminate:
5 - I (too egocentric)
1 - A (thinks it should always have priority)

Keep:
1 - C  (Needed for the ch sound, and since we get rid of Q, we should go back to the old Anglo-Saxon cw digraph for the qu sound.)

I am outraged by the fact that people want to eliminate G so early. Seriously, these must be the same voters as from the Commonwealth of Nations survivor. Oh, wait...

What baffles me is why some of those who are hellbent on eliminating G are the same ones who want to protect C. I acknowledge that I am biased by my status as a monolingual English speaker, unlike many (perhaps most) voters here, but in English G is far more versatile than C and less redundant. Let's compare.

C can be hard or soft, but those sounds can be replaced by K or S respectively.
C combines with H for the CH sound.

G can be hard of soft. Soft G can be replaced by J, but hard G is a unique sound.
G combines with H to form GH, which can sound like a hard G, an F, or be silent.

Are you serious Vazdul ?

It seems as if the "some people" is reduced to... me, in fact.

In French, G is a bad letter, very uneasy to put in a Scrabble game Grin.
So, yes, of course, it deserves to go, now.

And what about the E ?
With some different accents in French, but also in many other languages ?

My first name starts with E, so i'm going to do all i can to stop it from being eliminated Grin If that means voting against G, then so be it.

I'm about as serious as I can be in an off-topic survivor. Tongue

Do you seriously favor E? It's so common! That would be like George Washington winning a survivor on American Presidents. And the accent thing can be said about most of the vowels.

No, I don't favor E, but it was to answer to your G "passion" Smiley.

(your bolded "outraged" made me think you were really serious Wink)

In few rounds, we'll agree again, Vazdul, as R and L are high on my to-do list too Wink.

I'm afraid they aren't necessarily that high on my to-do list. At this point I'm just wasting points in an effort to eliminate E.
