I will vote aye on this bill.  We should reduce registration requirements.  I can't stand the atmosphere of "we are a club of men" in Atlasia.  If we have a zombie problem, there are other ways to deal with it.. without discouraging interested people from joining.
I'm a little incredulous to the fact that some of you actually treat people joining specifically for being involved in Atlasia as a bad thing.  It's a great thing and many of our oldest members joined just for fantasy politics (verin being a prime example).

I really don't think it is going to hurt much. My amendments were to make sure it won't hurt that much Tongue

There is a huge difference between 50 days and 10 days. If this passes, we could get overwhelmed before even realizing it.

Where are you even getting 50 from? The current requirement is 15. I think you're way exxagerating what the effect would be of this amendment. If a "zombie invasion" ever occurred again, I'm sure it would occur whether we had the current requirements or the proposed requirements.

Oh, sorry, I actually misread the constitution's text. Well, that's fine. If the number of days is made higher it makes sense to diminish the number of posts in order to avoid spamming. Put it at 18, 20 days and I'll support the 50 posts.

What would I vote nay on? Are we voting on an amendment? Can I amend to the following:

Duke are you still pursing this amendment or not? Some of the recent discussions have rendered it kind of excessive on the day requriement.

If people want to cut the days to 10, then so be it. Forget my amendment.

Ok, I offer this Amendment and beg my fellow Senators to vote aye in order to keep Atlasia protected from zombies.

I urge the Senate to oppose this amendment. With such a lack of activity, we should be encouraging new members, not further alienating them.

Eighteen days? Why can't it be 2 weeks? It'll be so simple!

I plan to veto this if this amendment passes. 18 is a completely random number that will make counting back more difficult, and is also too excessive.

Two weeks and 50 posts is an easy number to remember. I don't know why 10 days or 18 days and the like is even being thrown around!

Nay

My fellow colleagues supporting more stringent registration requirements would turn this place into a club of a few select people that have satisfied the insane requirements in order to play the game.  Atlasia should be available to any and all who are interested without undue barriers.

If you were really that put off by people like Hamilton, get over it!  You act as if you lost sleep over it, when in fact it probably only increased legitimate interest in the game.  I know I joined because I wanted to get in on the action.  I can't imagine wanting to join now if I were still uninvolved.
