Trump-mentum storms America in this new NBC/WSJ national poll of GOP primary voters:

http://online.wsj.com/public/resources/documents/11139april2011filledin.pdf

Romney 21%
Huckabee 17%
Trump 17%
Gingrich 11%
Palin 10%
Pawlenty 6%
Bachmann 5%
Santorum 3%
Barbour 1%

If Huckabee, Palin, Santorum, and Trump don't run:

Romney 40%
Gingrich 20%
Pawlenty 12%
Bachmann 11%
Barbour 3%

How long will it be before we see either a national or state primary poll with Trump in the lead?

They have other poll questions for all voters (not just Republicans).  Of the public figures they tested among the general electorate, Hillary Clinton is the most popular, with 56% favorability and 22% unfavorability.

Hamid Karzai is at 4% favorable / 26% unfavorable, and Gaddafi is 2% favorable / 76% unfavorable.

I like Trump, but once a campaign starts and the skeleton's roll out, he's toast.

Great to see Romney doing so well, especially in the second poll, which is much more likely.

Gaddafi is 2% favorable / 76% unfavorable.

Easily fixed.  Gaddafi needs to say he doubts Obama was born in the US and his GOP favorables will skyrocket and he'll hold Romney to single digits in Nevada.

Gaddafi at 2%- this is fixed! The brave Colonel can (and must) catch up to Obama soon!

Both are born in Africa but the experience and fighting spirit is on the Colonel's side.

I love to see some Gaddafi vs Obama polls from Alabama and Wyoming Smiley

I've thought all along that Trump might become a front runner. I would love to see him win, but as another poster previously stated, he won't have a chance because of the magnitude of skeletons in his closet.

Skeltons don't matter, look at Bill Clinton. Anyone is better than Obama

This mindstate is why I wish Gaddafi was included in the match ups.

A Trump/Gaddafi ticket would be very exciting.

Trump is winning the hearts of the Tea Partiers over this birther nonsense. This primary season is going to be so entertaining.

interesting look at reality - Romney is stronger than expected when you get rid of the non-running fluff (although not sure why Santorum was removed as he is probably running but would likely only be 4-5%)

A Ghaddafi-Biden debate is just an international incident waiting to happen.

I knew Trump was a fraud and asshole, but I never knew he was that much of a far-right retard.
