The match-up surveys of 2,000 or 1,000 Likely Voters were conducted from March 6 - March 31, 2011 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error for surveys of 2,000 is +/- 2% with a 95% level of confidence; the margin of sampling error for surveys of 1,000 is +/- 3% with a 95% level of confidence.  Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC.

Each match-up had either 1000 or 2000 likely voters.

Ah, so it wasn't one poll.  I guess the dates explain the lack of Trump.

Ayn Ron is now the 3rd strongest GOP candidate.  Huzzah!

     Given the current state of the GOP field, I suspect a baked ham could manage being the 3rd strongest GOP candidate. It seems like a very real possibility that Obama could be wildly unpopular on Election Day & still win just by facing a really poor opponent.
