NEVER WRITE ANOTHER TIMELINE AGAIN, THIS SUCKS BECAUSE IT SHOWS OBAMA WINNING BY A LARGE MARGIN AGAINST A HORRIBLE CANDIDATE.

Hey I think your map was well thought out and I would ignore the insulting comments from others who simply dont like the outcome.

I could see this as 100% possible if the GOP nominate nutcase Bachmann.
I also see this scenario happening if Sarah Palin gets the nomination and Palin stands a much better chance at the nomination then Bachmann does.

I would give Bachmann Louisiana under this scenario...because it voted overwhelmingly for McCain in 08. I would also keep Alaska narrowly in her column. Same if Palin was the nominee...national margins would proably look as you have them. Palin or Bachmann would proably not get over 41%.

Against Romney or Huntsman or someone? You are right.
Against Bachmann? Yes it is.

Indiana is tea party country. So yeah Bachamann wins. Obama won Indiana by less than 1 percent in 2008. Bachamann would rally the conservative base and a lot of libertarians as well thus 15 point Bachamann win.

And she would turn off all the swing voters, so it balances out.

And Bachmann skipped an important Iowa fundraiser just to vote for the PATRIOT Act. I can't see her being popular among libertarians.

I'm also scratching my head on that vote too.
