Let's assume all those with ECs are running.  I think Barbour, Bachmann, and Bolton run.

Is there really anyone who seriously consider Pataki?

Meant to include Trump. Also think he'll run.

Barbour, Bachmann, Bolton, and Giuliani.

If Barbour and Giuliani don't run, than it's Daniels, Bachmann, Bolton, and Pataki.

That's not a reason to not try a run

Do you even have to ask?

Of that list? Only Bachmann and Barbour. I also think Trump will run. Bolton might be the Tommy Thompson this year.

Pataki is more like Tom Daschle than anyone else.  The mid-level manager who is trying to make a run years past his prime for the CEO spot.  He won't run.

Only Barbour and Bachmann of that list,

Trump wont run either (or at least not run to the point where he has to disclose finances)

I saw an item on Political Wire the other day that indicated that Trump could ask for an extension on the financial disclosure requirement that would allow him to delay revealing anything until 120 days after he files for candidacy.  Though I'm not sure if he begins a campaign, then drops out 119 days later, can he avoid disclosing his finances?  Also not sure if he'll have to disclose anything if he forms an exploratory committee but then drops out.

That was actually what I was referring to in my "to the point he has to disclose" so he can continue his fake run this summer and get into a couple of debates. Not sure on the disclosure rules on exploratory committees but i would guess as soon as you start taking donations of money you might trigger the disclosure requirement.

Anyone here a FEC expert?
