But remember, the only thing Republicans care about is jobs, jobs, jobs.

The problem is that I was not consulted first actually.

Don't feel bad, Torie, I doubt any irrelevant nobodies were consulted.

I think opebo would be a better President in terms of how he'd govern considering all the problems after Mandela's Presidency

Thinking is not your strong suit.

TNF showing off his True Leftist credentials.

Yeah, because we all know it's crazy to call one's self a left-winger and not support a man who wants to turn public education into nothing more than a parasitic "charter school" system, who continues to push austerity in the face of economic reality, and who's healthcare law requires everyone to buy insurance from the parasitic insurance industry. I feel a bit out of the loop about Atlas culture these days, so just to check: middle-aged man bragging to teen virgins about his big c*ck is still the coolest person ever, right?

How can a question be a "simple truth"?

Rhetorical ones can.

Maybe. But it's definitely also pretty snappy.

Tony hits hard.

Torie due to his coup d'etat. Bushie is a close second.

^^^

And the Update is  just a small part of his coup.  Grabbing power from Inks via the use of pm's, his antics that we've heard about through others in the mod cave, his failed barfie reclamation project, the continued ouster of Simi and The jmf.  Yep, coup is right.  He wins.

You do realize that Torie is probably one of the more (if not most) pro-return-of-Simi mods, no?

Not surprising, considering they are both smug poor-hating plutocrats.

Remind me again how much better 90% of what Silicon Valley has done has made my life or anyone else's better.
Interesting complaint to make on an internet forum.

These are people who use other people's money to make "apps" that no one wants to use, that generate no revenue, and that produce no returns for shareholders.

Sure, no one uses technology from silicon valley...

Find me a tech company that has actually had positive earnings per share over the past year. Find me a tech company that has paid a dime of earnings to their shareholders. Explain why anyone outside of the Bay Area should give a crap that you coded an app that lets people arrange for helicopters to take them to work because the icky, unwashed BART workers are on strike since your presence in the city has made living there unaffordable for them.

Apple is either number one or two in profits in the world.

That's not really sulfuric. I think it does a valuable service in correcting some of the rhetorical excesses of a line of thinking to which I'm generally inclined to be sympathetic, but I don't think it's really sulfuric.

Came here to say Gramps but it could be anyone on the List. Maybe even Phil.

Sadly, this has long been a possibility. They're confused on how to respond to The Problem so thankfully, I have survived. For now.

No worries. Muting an Italian is physically impossible.

We tolerate the Chinese intelligence agent, and so far there's no reason to not tolerate the Khazkh unintelligence agent.

Also, are you too ignorant to understand that under Ian Smith the country was not a colonial state?

That's true, the rebel regime was not internationally recognised (not even by its South African allies) and was therefore technically not a 'state'.

Yes (D), but I don't think it's my business to get involved with what other people do.

What's wrong with it? Monogamy is a very recent addition to human social relations.

So's not bashing someone's head in with a rock when they make a move on your woman.

Jesus, I hate libertarians.

This was a hard decision for me, but Reagan.

Both fought for freedom principles though. Mandela for social freedom, Reagan for economic freedom.

ROFLMFAO these people can't be serious

"These people." Guess you won't be going back to being a libertarian for two months now!

I'm not sure which is more bland: Phil's repeated use of the same joke over and over to try and get a quick zinger on me, or BRTD continuing to post aforementioned repeated "zingers" in the sulfur mine.

Carl, you kind of bring it on yourself. You bash libertarians with the fervour of a bitter apostate and it's pretty funny.
