It's worth mentioning that any voter is welcome to go to their county elections office to cast a ballot in person if they have concerns about privacy.

I don't think you understand why the secret ballot works the way it does.

I think you like to write in vague statements in an effort to make yourself sound smarter than you are.

Yeah, that's going in the sig....

Not the best, but n00b pwns JJ

I would see parallels with 1980 and 1932.

Of course you would. I'm sure Obama supporters can find comfort in your prognostications of doom for their candidate.

The Democrats and Obama shouldn't risk it, why make things even more messy than it already is.

Well if the choice is defaulting or rubbing 1/2 of 1/3 of the government the wrong way... you know what my vote is Cheesy

No I don't know.  Why should I know the views of a supposedly brand new poster, even if you have racked up 41 posts on your first day?

Or he wasn't paying attention and/or is a dumb.

"a dumb" ?  Perhaps you weren't paying attention during English Tongue

I think perhaps it is you who are exhibiting your ignorance of the forum and its traditions, Cincy.

Maybe Lief (like opebo) isn't smart enough to create his own, Hitler free message board?  Could someone give him a hand?  Please?!

Lief and opebo don't have any original content to offer.  I doubt any of us would be here without the rest of the Atlas site.

I support opebo's decision to self archive his greatest moments.

Actually, I was aiming to support opebo's decision to self-archive his greatest moments.
That part was hard to follow in my original post. I will try to be a more clear and concise writer. My apologies.

People are all for budgetary discipline until they start to experience hunger or have to surrender such freedom as they have to corporate fat-cats  who 'offer' harsh terms of employment in return for a little bit of food.

Exactly who does this rhetoric describe?  I don't know many people who are fed by the government.  As for prostrating yourself before your corporate master, well, that's all of us, even yuppies like myself.

Outright fascism, the dream of America's economic elite.

For the life of me, I have no idea what connection your comment has to mine.

Crude, derivative and about as funny as acute pancreatitis. I'd recommend not giving up the day job, but then I think it's quite clear that you don't actually have one.

Gone already Sad In response to what?

A parody of Naso's thread by Snowstalker.  Poor Snow didn't realize that parodying comedy results in unfunny.

Arguing in the sulfur mine is slightly better than arguing in the goldmine.  Still, take it outside/to PMs.

Or make it witty/gratuitously offensive.

Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.

Is that offensive enough?

Yes, but not witty or gratuitous.

The last page of this thread is pure beauty. I enjoy how derailment in this thread is comedy.

I suppose J. J. posting directly into here is like when Naso posts directly into the Goldmine, it's against standard protocol but appropriate in this case.

Why not? King does.

J.J. isn't the oh snap here.  BRTD is, but J. J. multiplied it's snappiness with his reversely lame retort.

Yeah. There's no way I'm going to read all of that, because it's long and it looks stupid.

Yea. Maybe . . . maybe I'd give it a chance if it wasn't wormy . . .

And maybe if it wasn't also posted by a fellow libertarian.

Got to give credit where credit is due...

Walter Mondale had a 12 point lead on Ronnie in January 1980 Gallup.  The weak challenger has to lead at some point, better it be early and within the MOE.

Since Mondale was not running in 1980, I kind of doubt it.

Yes, J.J. is good at making cleanup on typos.

Some have claimed that my unique perspective on things from politics to pop culture make me "America"....

Don't be so gullible, McFly...it's just those who hate any idea or concept are attempting to make you the poster child for said idea or concept.  To those who hate America, you are the poster child for America.  For those who hate the GOP, you are made out to be the poster child for the GOP.

and it's not that they hate you, you're very likeable, it's just that they find you to be a rube...therefore it's easy for them to make a strawman argument by adopting you as the poster child.

so my advice to you is turn the tables on them and charge a quarter for each usage

He was hit in the head with a gold brick while on a field trip to the Dow Jones building as a child.

Really? We're making fun of someone in a wheelchair now?

Which is hilariously ironic considering Joe's history.

Hey, don't I deserve credit for making the damn joke?
