Things Ron Paul Supporters Do Well:

- Have a strong showing in straw polls.

- Make their presence known in meaningless primaries (when the nomination is already decided. See: 2008 U.S. Presidential Primaries)

- Create funny ads.

- Internet Pros.

Yep, that's about it. Thanks, guys!

And what do Santorum supporters do well again?

Obsessed person

Yes, you are. Hence the funny.

His haters have always been far more obsessed than I. I'll admit when there is a good Santorum joke but you post every little sad attempt at humor in one of the comedy threads or here. I know, I know..."LOL 18 POINTS!!!" but that's only your weak attempt to cover up the seething anger you have over the fact that he was in elected office for sixteen years. I guess whatever the guy did to you that gets you so angry didn't resonate soon enough. Feel free to share whatever that was, by the way. Spill coffee on you by accident? Fender bender? I know there must be something. After all, you got up and ran away to Ohio!

Got to give credit where credit is due...

Walter Mondale had a 12 point lead on Ronnie in January 1980 Gallup.  The weak challenger has to lead at some point, better it be early and within the MOE.

Since Mondale was not running in 1980, I kind of doubt it.

Not everyone who disagrees with you is trolling.

I suggest you stop being such a massive fanny.

I consider this a success because it got Joe to read something in the Euro 2012 thread.

Of course, it is sad that Joe continues with his vendetta against me by posting this obvious attack here.

(Plus, there is a way to read posts without actually entering the thread it was posted in.)

Yeah, I noticed that you do that a lot. Seems like something the German national team did in their 2002 World Cup Qualifying Playoff, you know?

Hey, the flooding was really bad in our area...but it wasn't bad anywhere near J.J. except under a few underpasses.

To be fair, Bandit is most well known for his early days around here when he lived in a more rural setting and claims to have established his own country: "New America."

Thought he always lived in Bellevue? Little slice of postindustrial hell near Cincinnati?
Just across from Cincinnati. Bellevue's municipal area is tiny and it thus has only 6000 people, but it's fairly deep in a metro area (and it's not hellish - you want that, you're looking for Newport and the older sections of Covington, which also includes exurban territory.)

I could have sworn he lived in the middle of no where. It's good to hear that "New America" has an urban atmosphere though!

it's interesting how this episode has seemed to become a PR positive for Mikado.  not because of the faction that will agree with the sentiment of his message, but because of his willingness to 'apologize', how 'gutsy' this is, how he only had a human moment, as we all do, and etc.

Interesting how you continue to feed into his original point. You knew that already though...

the second sentence led me to read that post as almost being in solidarity.

Then you really don't know as much as you let on.

He was hit in the head with a gold brick while on a field trip to the Dow Jones building as a child.

Really? We're making fun of someone in a wheelchair now?

Which is hilariously ironic considering Joe's history.

Lief is in great shape lately.

Did anyone notice more people smiling today?

Yeah, but I go to school with a lot of Giants fans.

Yeah, too bad it was Meeker that said that.

These aren't even snap-worthy. Correcting J.J. is a routine task.

Al's post doesn't even make sense.

At least he's staying consistent then.

Nice to see that Ryan comes with his own prop, just like Palin with her special needs baby.

That's not "ohh snap", that's just plain rude.

Absolutely disgusting.

As a brother of someone with special needs, I agree-its disgusting.

Px would tell you his comments are meant to defend people like your brother because Republicans obviously don't truly care for those with special needs.  Roll Eyes

And if Palin didn't carry her special needs child, the story would be "Republicans don't want those with special needs to be seen!"

You all take this sort of thing much too seriously; the forum is a hallowed ground of procrastination, not a matter of life and death. Please consider investing in lives.

There is no point in engaging BRTD anymore. No point. Period. He is the most irrelevant person on the Forum.

I've always gotten along with HockeyDude but after that little act, it seems like he's proving to have the typical mental capacity of his username.

This is hilarious that the "literal" argument picked up again today because I was having an argument about the definition literally two hours ago with some friends!

I find the hyperfeminist internet virgins to be the most insufferable.

As an insufferable internet sexist and bigot, memphis has no high ground from which to find anybody else insufferable, except maybe somebody like Cory.

While I agree that memphis certainly has a whole bunch of unexamined sexism going on, I'm not sure where "bigot" enters into the equation.

Memphis, generally an ignoramus, hates religion and the religious.

interesting moderating strategy you have there, Badger.

Yeah, he has zero business moderating. There really isn't even room for debate on the subject.

Hi Phil! Should I run and report this for trolling or whine about your obsession with me now?

Oh wait, I'm not you.

I actually never even post about you or in response to you unless it's a rebuttal to whatever you're whining about regarding my behavior. I only posted it because you started up again elsewhere. It's like every three weeks, you'll appear and start nonsense. Objectively, you have no business being a moderator and it's not just your interactions with me.
