TN:  (North)Eastern TN hasn't had a Democratic Representative since Reconstruction I think.

Also, the Current 8th has been represented by Democrats basically from 1897 to 2010 (I think).  Though the "8th: seat has changed as TN dropped from 13 seats to 8, i think NW Tennessee has been solidly Dem for that long.

I think most of Davidson County has been democrat represented since reconstruction as well. Memphis believe it or not had a republican representative in the early 70s.

ME
most ancestrally democrat - the parts of Kennebec (Wayne, Monmouth, China, Albion and Unity Township) and Waldo (Burnham, Troy, Unity, Freedom, Palermo, Liberty, Montville, Morrill, (the town of) Waldo, Searsmont, Lincolnville, Northport and Isleboro) counties that moved from the first district to the second district in the 1993 redistricting (all of those municipalities in Kennebec County except for Wayne moved back to the first district in 2003, not that that matters here) have been represented by a Democrat since January 1987.  Ironically, a lot of these towns are fairly Republican.
least ancestrally democrat - the 1994 through 2002 ME-01 (represented by a Republican as recently as January 1997).

Lots of CT-04 and CT-05 are ancestrally Republican even if Democrats just recently won there. Check out the suburbs along the Long Island Sound, historically. The old 6th district, which included a lot of Litchfield County also.  Once upon a time we elected Prescott Bush and Lowell Weicker to the US Senate.

Washington

Democratic: Coastal areas (Pacific and Grays Harbor counties). Jefferson and Cowlitz also worth mentioning.

Republican: South Central-Southeastern Washington (Yakima, Garfield, Columbia, Whitman, Adams, Walla Walla). Franklin and Asotin are notable exceptions. San Juan would have easily won this until the 80s/90s, but it swung hard to the Democrats like Vermont. Lewis is the only Western county worth mentioning, I think.

New Jersey:
Democratic: Clearly Hudson (Especially Jersey City)
Republican: Probably NW. Sussex has not been in a Democratic district for anything since 1980, and that was a Watergate fluke. Parts of Hunterdon/Somerset may be even more so. Ocean is interesting because it only went Democrat for President in 64 and 96 but had Democratic state legislators until 1991.
