I never had any sympathy for him. His campaign was ran in perhaps the snottiest and at times bizarre way possible. He was just impossible to empathize with and his sad "Oh my beloved centrist party is dying" angst runs incredibly hollow after running an entire campaign based essentially on "You have no other choice, you will vote for the Liberals."
