It could be small handwriting, Yel; mine is rather large and a bit sloppy (though still readable, at least).

AP English Language was a lot easier than I expected it to be. APWH had easier multiple choice, but the DBQ made me laugh, considering I have no knowledge of cricket whatsoever. Any other feelings?

Yes. The history of cricket as it relates to the Indian Subcontinent. I freaked out at first, considering that I don't even know the rules of the game (I actually learned that the "bowler" was the "pitcher" from the DBQ) but all of the information was provided, luckily.

Why the hell would that be an essay question? It tends to be a lot broader than that.

Many years ago, my AP Euro DBQ was about the importance of medieval carnivals. They do obscure topics on purpose because they're trying to gauge one's ability to synthesize new information rather than measure what you already know.

Strange; the APUSH DBQ was about something we already knew for the most part.

I think I might have told this story before, but back in high school, I took AP Statistics.  When I took the AP test, I was unable to answer 2 out of 6 essay questions.  I don't mean "I came up with the wrong answer," I mean, "I was unable to even come up with an answer, even a wrong one."

A few months later, I heard that I got a 5 on AP Stat.  Despite a performance on the AP Stat test that I knew, had my AP Stat teacher been the one grading, I would've gotten a C or worse on it.

Ever since that experience, I've had a somewhat leery view of the idea of the AP test as "equivalent to a college entry-level course."  Tongue

Last year it was on some green agricultural revolution or something in India, very modern, never new it existed and neither did the students or our teachers.

Y'know, I really don't like how we can't legally discuss this stuff.

Got mine in the mail yesterday. 4 on the AP World History Exam, which for me is crazy because I had the worst teacher of any subject I'd ever had. We made it through about a third of the textbook, had endless busy work and irrelevant projects, and the only CCOT essay we ever wrote in class was autobiographical. Not to mention that the teacher herself clearly had little-to-no knowledge of the subject she was teaching.

Needless to say, I'm very proud of that score

I got 4 on both Statistics and Physics C: Mechanics, which are both kind of shocking, albeit for different reasons; I felt like I aced Statistics but was seriously worrying about whether I would pass Physics. 5 on Spanish, English Lit and US Government, naturally.

I have a bad feeling I'll get a three or below on the APUSH. My final essay, which should've sealed the deal for me, ended up getting cut sadly short by the time limits and hand cramps. If I don't get a 4 or 5, I'll have my old history teacher gloating the rest of the year.

I didn't even finish my final essay and managed a 4. I spent too much time on my DBQ and was only on my second paragraph of the second essay when time was called. The first essay was rushed too!

I'm sure you did well! Smiley

And now Maryland will rain AP credit on you from the skies! Grin Well done on Spanish (if unsuprising, por supuesto).  The language ones are some of the hardest.

Me too.  Combined with my 4 on World History makes for a whopping 9 college credits.
