He caused his own problem. He didn't have to make a statement on the GOP budget at all. He could have even said "I need to look at it more before I make a decision on how I feel on it --but I think they're on the right track." Dumb.

They're radical for thinking one wife is enough, or maybe he is the radical for having multiple wives.  Is he a closeted Mormon?
