November 2012-The US economy is slowly recovering. Unemployment rises and falls, and it now sits at 8.4%. Gas Prices rise and fall, on election day, the averedge is $4:75. The Libyan civil war is in a stalemate, with the US continuing constant bombardment. Qaddafi remains untoached in Tripoli. Al Qaeda has become a relic of the past, after Bin Ladens death. US troops are totally out of Iraq, and slowly are withdrawling from Afghanistan.

The Democratic primaries see President Obama winning over minor opposition, mainly in the form of Alan Grayson, and Alvin Greene. Despire rumors, Joe Biden stays on for another term, and John Kerry is publicly tapped to sucede Hillary Clinton, who will retire once and for all, in January 2013.

The Republican field was not as quiet. The Iowa caucus was a suprise win for the Pawlenty campaign, which imploded soon after. The race soon drew down to be a battle between Mitt Romney, and Rick Perry, with Herman Cain, and Ron Paul filling voids. It was Pauls suprise win in the Louisiana primary, and Romneys win in Indiana that spoiled the race for Perry. Romney released his VP shortlist, which included Bobby Jindall, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, and Mitch Daniels. Eventually, it was Jindall who was tapped.

The 3rd parties, ofcourse, nominated their canidates. Ralph Nader is absent from the field, and has retired from politics.

Republican-Mitt Romney/Bobby Jindall
Democrat-Barack Obama/Joe Biden
Libertarian-Wayne Root/Mike Jingozian
Constitution-Alan Keyes/Virgil Goode
Green-Kat Swift/Jesse Johnson

Polls have been closed in Indiana and Kentucky for just over an hour, and we can call Kentucky and her 8 Electoral Votes for the Romney campaign. Indiana is too close to call, as is South Carolina, and Georgia. Vermont will be in the Presidents column.

Kentucky (5% precints reporting)

Romney-58%
Obama-42%

Vermont (1% precints reporting)
Obama-67%
Romney-33%

7:15
We can project South Carolina, and her 9 electoral votes will go to Romney, with 6% of the precints reporting.

South Carolina (6% of precints reporting)
Romney-55%
Obama-44%
Other-1%

7:30
Polls have now closed in Ohio and West Virginia, and we can call that Governor Romney will indeed take West Virginia. Ohio remains too close to be called.

West Virginia (1% of Precints reporting)
Romney-62%
Obama-38%

The national popular vote tallies so far show a slight lead for President Obama.

Obama-49.1%
Romney-47.9%

We have some major calls to make. We can project that the state of Alabama will go to the Romney column. Connecticut becomes the second state tonight to be called for the President, with Delaware, and the District of Columbia, as well. Florida is too close to call, with a slight Obama lead. Illinois will go into the Presidents favor, as well as Maine, Maryland, and Massachusetts. Mississippi has been won by the Republican ticket, though Missouri, and New Hampshire are too close too call. New Jersey once again has been won by the President, with Governor Romney taking Oklahoma. And finally, Tennessee, will go for Governor Romney, with Pennsylvania is too close to call.

Polling from Florida shows a slight Romney lead, as does Pennsylvania.

We can now call Arkansas, with 1% reporting, for Governor Romney. So far a relatively high Libertarian turnout throughout the South can be seen, though it has only broke 1% in Arkansas. North Carolina is too close too call, with 1% precincts reporting. We are also making some major calls outside the Presidential race. In Indiana, we project Mike Pence has defeated Evan Bayh in the gubernatorial election by at least 3%. In Florida's 22nd district, embattled Congressman Allen West has been reelected over West Palm Mayor Lois Frankel. In West Virginia, Senator Manchin has rode out another challenge by John Raese, by at least 7%. In Connecticut, Chris Murphy has defeated Linda McMahon to replace Joe Lieberman in the Senate. And in Vermont, Senator Bernie Sanders has been reelected in a landslide.

Arkansas (1% precincts reporting)
Romney-55.1%
Obama-43.1%
Root-2.8%

8:45
We are now projecting that the state of New Hampshire has been won by President Obama, with 11% precincts reporting. We can also call the Florida Senate race for Jeb Bush, who has defeated Senator Nelson by at least 4%.

New Hampshire (11% of precincts reporting)
Obama-53%
Romney-47%

9:00
We have a series of important calls to make. Arizona has been won by Governor Romney. Colorado is too close too call. Kansas and Lousiana have both been won by Governor Romney. Michigan has been won by the President, as well as for Minnesota. Nebraska has gone for Governor Romney. New Mexico will go into the Presidents column. New York and Rhode Island have been won by the President. South Dakota is called for Governor Romney. Texas has been won by Governor Romney. Wisconsin is too close too call. Wyoming will stay red tonight, once more going for Republicans.

9:15
We can project that Governor Romney has won Missouri, with 35% precincts reporting.

Missouri (35 of precincts reporting)
Romney-52%
Obama-48%

9:30
We can project, with 60% of precincts reporting, that the State of Ohio will go for Governor Romney, by a margin of less then 5%

Ohio (60% of precincts reporting)
Romney-51%
Obama-49%

9:45
Polls have been closed for just over a hour, in North Carolina, after a surge of last minute voters hit. We can now make a projection. We can call the State of North Carolina for Governor Romney, with 25% of precincts reporting. The current electoral tally is 202 for Governor Romney, and 143 for President Obama.

10:00
Polls now close in a another block of states. In Iowa, it is too close too call, with 1% precincts reporting. In Montana, we can project, with 1% reporting, that Governor Romney will carry the state. In Nevada, it is too close too call. And in North Dakota, and Utah, Governor Romney is expected to win both states.

10:05
Due to a delay in polls closing, South Dakota was late. We can make a call. We project South Dakota has been carried by Governor Romney.

10:23
We can now project Colorado, which has been very close, will go for the President. We believe we will be able to call Wisconsin within the hour as well.

10:30
We now can project Wisconsin, with 65% precincts reporting, for President Obama. We also project Governor Romney will win Iowa, with 10% precincts in.

10:45
Were now making a major call. We project Governor Romney has won the State of Florida, and its 29 electoral votes. Florida is a key swing state, a sign of things to come, potentially.

11:00
We have our final bloc of calls to make. We project the President will carry California, Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii by large margins. We project Idaho to be in Governor Romney's favor. We are now going to call Nevada, as well, for the President, with 20% precincts in.

11:11
We are going to make a historic projection. We can call the state of Pennsylvania for Governor Romney. This puts him over the 270 needed, and makes him  of the United States. I repeat-we project Governor Romney has defeated President Obama to be the 45th President of the United States.

11:30
We are now projecting Virginia to be in Governor Romney's favor as well..

1:00
We can call Alaska, where polls just closed, for Governor Romney.

Governor Mitt Romney/Governor Bobby Jindall-292 Electoral Votes, 49.25%
President Barrack Obama/Vice President Joe Biden-246 Electoral Votes, 47.98%
Businessman Wayne Allen Root/Businessman Mike Jingozian-1.15%
Activist Kat Swift/Activist Jesse Johnson-0.94%
Activist Allen Keyes/Former Congressman Virgil Goode-0.89%
