Indifferent. The current iteration of them like to party and get drunk is my impression.

Second in command behind the 5 Jewish Bankers and just ahead of the Iluminati.

Actually, in Pennsylvania, alcohol is forbidden at lodge functions.

A nice fraternal organization, a very long tradition, and completely non partisan in the US.

Some of them were FFs and others were HPs. Judging them as a group makes no sense.

Completely indifferent. My grandfather is one and lives in a Masonic home. It's just a normal retirement home with Masonic symbols in more places than usual. And they certainly do enjoy a solid drink, that's for sure.

HP. I've posted before about that girl I met at that party in Mankato whose apartment overlooked one of their lodges and she seriously believed they were conducting evil rituals inside and summoning demonic elements and all that. Like 100% seriously. Of course she also had a huge stash of hallucinogenic drugs.

That was my understanding of the PA Lodges.

Chose 1, but 3 seems pretty spot on too.

Ugh.  I want to ask a question here, but if I do, this thread could get out of control.  It already reeks of gasoline and there are plenty of other torches nearby so here goes...

Do you currently believe in a supreme being...if not...how do you plan to erm..."get around" that part (perhaps JJ can correct me, they still care about that right, or just that you say yes, without really giving a damn)?

Yes, the Lodges I've worked for are no alcohol.......then I'd go out with them afterward and get alcohol Tongue

A Supreme Being, though polytheists are included in that.  I think there have been Hindu Freemasons for two centuries.  How a Freemason chooses to practice is his own business.

The ideal is "The brotherhood of man under the fatherhood of God."

While it has been traditionally "old guys," I know the last 10 Freemasons made at my lodge were under 35.  It depends on the demographics of the area.

Right, but its not just a quaint sort of thing where they continue to require it out of tradition...only theists need apply right?

In the broadest sense of the word, yes.  And yes, it more than tradition.

HP, Several of my older relatives have face job discrimination at the hands of the Masons and one was actually fired for refusing the leave the Catholic Church and become a Mason. Despite having several friends with a boatload of Masonic connections, to me the Masons as an organization are and always will be an enemy.

They are an enemy to you because the Masons are part of the New World Order amirite?

The more I read about them, the less I understand what they're about.

So, HP, for aggregating with no apparent purpose.

From what I hear our local version fits perfectly under the label HP. A lot of rich, middle aged men who are astonishingly racist and Flemish-Nationalist. Also, the whole 'old boys among one another' atmosphere wouldn't attract me.
