Well, I once had the nickname 'big bird' from some weird woman.  Never caught on with anyone else.  But I didn't find the quotation to be lol.. just mildly amusing.

Nothing like a good 19th century (?) political cartoon.

But what about the quote you lazy bustard?

As for GG, wow, stellar signature!  Even the gnome quote is OK.

I really like the quote about insects and so forth.. we really don't pay enough attention to the insect.

I'm really purple, and I didn't particularly like the signature of 20RP21 because it was a bit large in type face and unadorned.

I don't like it.  Boss Tweed, you should try to get the same message across through a quote of another member or some famous person, not by simply explaining yourself, yourself.

it is, actually, a quote from Noam Chomsky.  it's his opinion of Jacques Lacan:

as for you, you've taken up the habit of putting your own quotes in your sig.... illustrates some poor taste, I'm afraid?  would seem to be in the same vein of what you're criticizing above.

Not at all, that's quite different - I thought you were describing yourself for the signature.  Quoting one's own statements which were made for another purpose is fine, I think.

The first quote is fine, but the second is shocking!  Shocking!  And probably death-point.

That's a very particular cat - one that inherited about twelve million dollars in the news a week or so ago.

I like the Pudd'n-pie unicorn signature.

The Ron Paul thing sickens me, and I'm sure so would the Roarer if I knew what it was.

I like the black and white and bowler hat but not the nonsense sentence.

I like the nonsense sentence but not the strange picture. Looks like it's from some oldtimey tv serial I wouldn't enjoy.

Dude, its a girl in a cat-outfit from a circa late 1960s film! what's not to like??

I fully support his pro-ganga stance, but crave clarification on the anti-cigarette stance: is he anti-corporation/capitalism, or anti-tobacco?

Last time I came here I received no comment whatsoever because of pointless chit chat distracting.  Please don't let it happen again.

Regarding Senator Scott's signature, I like the nice big fat O of Obama in 2012!

opebo: Is that picture from a movie?

It is Snowstalker, though I don't know the film.  I just like a picture of a doubtful looking girl in a cat-suit.

I don't find your two quite very hard hitting to be honest.  Neither subtle.

Looks like Ben and you have something in common.

Who is Ben?  Does he love the Pope too?

I like the Allez I think it means 'come', right?  My french friends here are all abuzz about the voting and the riddingof the Dwarf as they call him.

What the heck, dude, you don't know Mrs. Bucket??  My parents were huge fans, and they're not so different in generation from you.

As for Gramps, excellent quote there, very good.

The above right-wing signature is shocking!

As for you Antonio:

You forgot to mention the photographic image!  What are you good for if you can't be thorough?
