To the contrary: it's the media acknowledging who the frontrunner and probably nominee of your Party is going to be. Horses and carts.

Bud, I have to respectfully disagree with you on this. Mitt Romney has been leading every single national poll, some by pretty moderate margins, and is leading polls in all the leadoff states. If Romney can win Iowa, New Hampshire, Michigan, Nevada, and South Carolina like polling currently shows, I can't see how he wouldn't win the nomination.

Do we want the media to dictate who our nominee will be? Ron Paul and Sarah Palin supporters would beg to differ and justifiably so as to who the frontrunner is. Palin has claim because she was the VP candidate not Mitt. Dr. Paul has won the past 2 CPAC polls and like Palin has wide support amongst the Tea Party.
Mitt finished third behind Huck and McCain in the 2008 primary race so I'd consider these three the frontrunners (provided Palin is in) if not then it's Paul vs Romney. Remember Rudy was the frontrunner this early in the process and he fell flat on his face.

I'm suprised you aren't backing TPaw. I might be meeting Mourdock Saturday to talk with him on a few issues.

Please make sure to ask Mourdock on Saturday why he feels it's important to run such a negative campaign filled with deceit against one of America's most hardworking and repsected Senators an entire year before the primary even occurs.

I'll see what I can do about that question. I've got a couple policy questions I'm going to ask him (Fed, supreme court justices). My question is how has he  (Mourdock) ended up with 2/3 of the endorsements from the county party chairs.
