Rockefeller, by a mile.

Republicans: Nelson Rockefeller (NY)/Ronald Reagan (CA) - 365
Democrats: Hubert Humphrey (MN)/Edmund Muskie (ME) - 120
American Independents: George Wallace (AL)/Curtis LeMay (CA) - 53

South Carolina narrowly swings to Wallace. Many states that narrowly went to Humphrey are now Rockefeller's.
