It's December 9 and we here at GabuCorp Polling are, er, fairly sure that nobody else is going to respond, so here are the results to our Dec. 6-8 poll on the District 5 debate.

Overview

First, as always, we would like to thank everyone who responded to our poll.  We couldn't do it without you.

The party breakdown in respondents was as follows:

Democrats: 35%
Republicans: 18%
United Atlas Centrists: 12%
United Left: 6%
Libertarians: 0%
Constitutional Union: 12%
Other: 6%
Independents: 12%

Note: Percentages may not add up to 100% due to rounding error

Democrats were clearly oversampled in this poll; however, a partisan breakdown of the results of each question is given, so necessary reweighting is possible if the true makeup of District 5 can be obtained.  We will not be doing that for this poll, but anyone interested is free to do so.

On to the results!

Notes: There are no columns for Libertarians as none responded to the poll.  There was only one United Left respondent and one "other" respondent, so those have been merged into "other" to preserve the respondents' anonymity.  As always, percentages may not add to 100% due to rounding error.

Because we sense that those reading the poll results are ready to submit several unsavory remarks towards our organization for two certain statistics, let us remind everyone of our disclaimer as given by our mentor, The Vorlon: there is no warranty expressed or implied in these results.  The data are what they are as we were given them, although we probably should note that there were only two Republican District 5 residents who responded to our poll.

Thanks to everyone for your participation!  Until next time, this is Gabu from GabuCorp Polling, Inc. signing off.
