Ron Paul is a Christian and has pro-life, anti gay marriage, and pro-gun views that would defintley help him in the South.

Those same things help him in Indiana as well. He'd hold the solid south, the plains states, and the libertarian message might make the coastal west in play.

Ron Paul is a Christian and has pro-life, anti gay marriage, and pro-gun views that would defintley help him in the South.

He's not the pro-life or anti-gay marriage guy as most people think he is. He's in favor of state's coming up with their own definitions of marriage (so gay marriage legal in MA, gays burned at the stake in AL) and states legalizing or making illegal abortion. So, in the evangelical sort of way, Paul isn't nearly far enough right.
