In this day, he is finished. However, Ford had a good shot in 1980, and even considered a campaign in 88! If this were 1911, then Obama would defiantly have a strong shot.

Yeah, you're probably right, I was just throwing out the thought.  I do agree that we live in a completely different era than we did in the late nineteenth century.
