plenty of the kids can't register nor can the Euros, and self-identification and registration don't always match up among the VAP.

I would ID as independent, though I'm a registered Republican because I want to vote in primaries and I was at one time a conservative (though I was unenrolled back then, ironically). My ideology could generally be called socialist, in particular I would call myself a Heterodox Marxist -with an internationalist leaning (and perhaps even a few communitarian features). There isn't a political party for someone like myself... I don't know what the Socialist Workers Party or whatever they're called are about precisely, though I'd likely join one such fringe party if this were a parliamentary democracy.

It wasn't a fucking essay question.  There's no partial credit.  Multiple choice, man.  Just pick one.

Republican, by the way.

LOL.  No offense meant, none taken.  It was cathartic to finally be able to give someone else a hard time for such an unnecessarily long-winded response.

Democratic -perhaps permanently.  Despite some differences of opinion, I think I have found a home in this party, and I am more than comfortable identifying myself as a Democrat.

Democrats, because they're the only serious opposition to the Republicans.
