The Republicans, frustrated by the weak field of candidates, find a hitherto unnoticed loophole in the Constitution that allows British non-citizens to run for president. David Cameron is thus nominated as the Republican candidate. (choose your own VP)

Flip Maine's congressional district votes. Maine's first district would go for Obama, definitely not Maine's second.

Have a Cameron/Netanyahu ticket to create a Center-right/right balance and you might get that map.

Sorry. I always thought it was just proportional, not by district.

The loophole only applies to Britons. Tee hee hee.

Isn't Cameron rather unpopular?

I'm pretty sure Cameron's approval numbers in the UK doesn't really matter in the US.

I'd vote for Cameron, not so sure he'd win though, it'd all depend on the economy I guess.

But Obama could attack Cameron on those approvals.
