3 Not necessarily. Remember that the south until recent decades has been a drag on the naitonal economy...

The South is still a drag on the national economy. It is still the poorest region in the country and it still takes in far more federal dollars than it contributes.

I'm from the South, but I'm willing to admit to its problems. On the plus side, I like the slower pace of life, the trees everywhere, and the food. Every region has its pros and cons.
