Romney's total has to be seen as disappointing.  When you run as the candidate that will drown out the other candidates through a tidal wave of cash, you need, well, a tidal wave.

Could someone with a bit more patience than I have compare these with the 2004 Democratic and 2008 Democratic and Republican numbers?
