She certainly doesn't have the creepy Bilderberg, CFR, Fed and wall street cabal connections that the other candidates do.

Wow.

I hope nobody is mistaking me, of all people, as a Ron Paul fan. I just call them as I see them and this "straw poll" smells a little fishy.

Some singer (who I never heard about but apparently is really popular over there) played a concert for Bachmann. She would only let people that registered with her see the concert or even enter her little world. It goes outside the sportsmanship the other campaigns showed (A photo showed a Perry supporter trying to dunk Bernanke in a dunk tank at the Paul spot), but it is 'legal.'

(A) Yeah, that singer is most of the reason she won. She actually managed to give away 6000 tickets to 4700 Paul gave away, so 1 in 6 people with Bachmann tickets didn't vote for her while something like 1 in 25 people with Paul tix didn't vote for him.

(B) That Perry supporter actually had a little story going by the pictures I saw. He came to the Paul tent, did some Bernanke dunking, and then a little while later the Perry shirt is gone and he is dressed in the red "I voted Ron Paul" shirt behind the dunking stand Tongue

(C) This isn't a huge loss for Paul as some Paul supporters think. He came second and by an incredibly close margin, while utterly crushing T-Paw in third. He can't be discounted in Iowa, at any rate. However, this isn't a huge victory, either; he didn't win and it is far easier for the media to marginalize him because of it (I am thinking of the "Bachmann first, Pawlenty third" headlines). He came out of it strong enough to not lose momentum, but not with a strong win that could have snowballed that into frontrunner status in Iowa.

Apparently the singer was country star Randy Travis. Even I've heard of him, and I can't stand most country music. No doubt that helped her numbers.

Well, now we know what the sound of one hand clapping is.

I don't think Bachmann is so establishment that she is poison to Paul voters.  She certainly doesn't have the creepy Bilderberg, CFR, Fed and wall street cabal connections that the other candidates do.

Ohhhh, my friend. I fear you are mistaken. They never would have let her get so far if she wasn't their puppet. Bank it. Then burn the bank to the ground cause you've got all your bitcoins saved in tin cans buried in the back yard next to your fallout shelter.
