In light of Rowan Brandon's decision to withdraw himself from Senate consideration for the position of Game Moderator. Given the dedication and attention to detail that this position requires, I have made those my primary determining factors.

I therefore nominate former Vice President Marokai for the position of Game Moderator.

Marokai will retain his seat on the Presidential Game Reform Panel for the time-being.

Sure;

My goal for the position would be to restore it to the prominence it had under former-GM Purple State's tenure. Ideally, the GM should be providing constant detail on the economy, consulting the Senate with legislative analysis, providing stories of national and regional importance, and generally assisting any needs on any relevant issue.

The GM was designed to provide fuel for the game, if you will. Providing stories to react to, numbers to work with, coordinating and working with, the other cabinet officials, writing effects of legislation that is passed and what it practically does, etc. I will ideally do the same.

I hesitate to promise "constant, daily updates" because I'm sure there will be situations where that is not possible, but that will be what I shoot for.

Obviously my views will, to some degree, inform my reporting on certain issues, I think that's undeniable. But that being said, I will remain as objective as possible, and also remember that, even though to some extent my job is a fact-checking job, it's also a job about helping the game move along. I suppose what I can say that you is that, I won't have any sort of axe to grind as GM. Sometimes a GM's job is to get a rise out of people, but anything I do won't be an over-reach.
