ABC News- Diane Sawyer- She is just awful period. She is unlikeable and a bore

CBS News-Katie Couric, hate to vote her off but she was not a evening news type anchor. She is better at lighter stories

NBC News- Roger Mudd, he was a good reporter but did not fit at NBC. He should have stayed at CBS or went to ABC

ABC News= Diane Sawyer, like I said she is awful

CBS News= Bob Schiefer, I hate to vote for him, but as he was a interim anchor he has to go. Should have stayed the main anchor.

NBC News- Brian Williams, he is good but not has a big of a legacy as the rest of teh guys at NBC

There are more ABC news anchors that in the other 2 networks. When are we going to start eliminating just them? otherwise we'll just have a final of 3 or 4 ABC hosts Tongue

Diane Sawyer
Douglas Edwards
Chet Huntley

I was going to have a double elimination round for ABC tomorrow and that's still what I am going to do for the next few rounds

If anybody other than Jennings and Cronkite win ABC/CBS, this game is fail.  They are the only two to ever have the screen presence to make you want to watch them.

NBC has always had good anchors and is a bit of muddled decision.

Some people hate both guys, but most people seem to like them including myself. NBC and CBS always dominated the ratings back in the old days, but ABC has always been underrated

Make sure to vote, we need more people

There is a tie between Brian Williams and Chet Huntley.

So in the next round: Vote for two ABC News anchors, one CBS anchor, and vote for either Williams or Huntley

ABC News Double Elimination: Ron Cochran- I have not seen much of him besides the JFK assination footage and it was not that much impressive. The sub they had for him at the beginning was way better than Cochran was

Barbara Walters- First woman led anchor, good at interviews not good at reporting imo.

CBS News: Scott Pelley- While I think he is good he is still new and has not had  a chance to do anything.

NBC News: Brian Williams- Good but not as good as his predecessors. It will take some time before he leaves a mark

Double Elimination for ABC again, down to final three for CBS but vote normal.

ABC News:

Barbara Walters- Like I said in the last round

Bob Woodruff- Just awful, had no business anchoring the evening news

CBS News:

Bob Schifer- Like the guy, but does not deserve to be in the final two.

NBC News:

Chet Huntley- Good Anchor, but I liked Brinkley better.

ABC News:

Barbara Walters- She needs to go now. She should have been gone two rounds back. The Fact that Max Robinson was eliminated before she was bogles the mind

CBS News

Walter Cronkite to win- He created modern day news anchoring, and it would be a crime for him not to win at least CBS's bracket. Rather was a funny guy but no Cronkite

NBC News

Abstain Vote- I like all three and can't make up my mind

Cronkite is the best CBS anchor!

We are down to ABC and NBC. Cronkite takes a break until the final three. Vote for an ABC anchor and who you want to win the NBC bracket.

ABC News- Charles Gibson. Kind of bland and forgettable imo

NBC News- David Brinkley for the winner. Kind of an upset, but he started NBC nightly news and is from my state so I got to pull for the local boy.
