David Duke is too much of a communist for the Tea Party.

I agree. A lot of an extraordinary national careers were launched thanks to a victory in this highly important primary. Like our former Veep Endicott Peabody.

So, when do you think Edwin Edwards will announce his run for President ?

You beat me to it. Then it could be 1991 all over again.

Edwards was just released from house arrest but I think he is barred from running for public office for a certain length of time.

If he does get it, it may call for a little operation chaos by Democrats. Where it is possible of course.

Only in Louisiana. And I don't see a Democratic presidential candidate winning LA in '12 anyway.

Right. Let's risk electing a racist if the country faces a double dip. At least when Republicans voted for Hillary, she was actually the better candidate running for the Democratic nomination.

The odds of him getting elected even under those circumstances are quite low. There's absolutely no way the Republican establishment could support him without doing permanent damage and swing voters would never vote for him.
