The vote is on the amendment not the bill

Thanks.  In that case, I vote Yea.
I do this only because it is unconstitutional.

I say let the unconstitutional part stay, because it'll make it easier to derail this terrible bill.

2. The Atlasia government shall institute a 10-20 Life law to prosecute those who commit gun crimes.Click Here to read the real law.

I would just like to point out that this violates the Separation of Powers. Effectively it gives the executive the power to write legislation on this issue. I look forward to writing 10-20-life laws for you and then making them law without any vote.

With five votes in favour to four against the amendment has passed, would all now please vote on the bill itself.

1. The Atlasia government shall institute a 10-20 Life law to prosecute those who commit gun crimes.Click Here to read the real law.

2. If any Atlaisan citizen uses a concealed handgun in self defense it must be proven by a court of law. If it is ruled that they weren’t acting in self defense they will be charged based on the 10-20-Life Law

I do not like the idea that the guy in public standing next to me may have a concealed gun.  This bill puts MORE GUNS on the streets.

Nay

I don't think you understood the full scope of this. We had to remove  the first clause, the only one regulating concealed carry, because it limitated the kind of weapons one could carry concealed. YOu are only boting on additions to the criminal code.

This being sid, I vote Nay.

How can one prove beyond a shaddow of a doubt in the court of law whether they used a fire arm in self-defense?  Does one have to be looking around for a camera or witnesses before they defend themselves?  The wording of this bill could very well turn the defender into the prosecuted.

If the 4th Legislative session has now ended, then this bill died in mid-vote. It will have to be re-introduced to be considered in the 5th session.

The Sec. of the Treasury and the Treasury department would like to come out in favor of this bill.

I proposed it to StatesRights back in the summer and it barely failed. Now it seems it is up again and now once and for all it needs to pass!

States, it seems the next legislative session has started now which means as the vote had not finished this bill fades away.

If you wish to re-propose it at the next legislative session (i.e. the one just starting) merely say so and I will give this preference.
