     Not doing it overnight, but I think it should be an eventual goal. I think we'd be doing ourselves a favor not being the cops of the world for once.

See I agree with you in my heart......but my head says let's not quite give up aid to South Korea, or some of the countries that keep Iran in check.......it's hard having a libertarian heart Wink

Recurring/ongoing aid is meaningless.  It just sets a new baseline.  Pakistan is a case in point -- the news is that we're now not going to give them $800mil, rather than that we have been for years.
