Oh god!  That's awful!  He's really an idiot to do that.  I'm sure in a while, he'll wake up and smell the flowers, only to realize you've moved on.  Remember: it's not your problem, it's his.  You're just too nice (and judging by your reaction, too loving) for it to be your problem
