Naso, did you get word that Michael Jackson died?

Yeah Phil, your sister rolled over in bed and told me last night.

Did you spend all night crying after hearing this news?

Yes I did.

Phil, I've always heard that Naso said something about believing in Jesus Christ "of Latter Day Saints."  Is this true?

Yes.

During another discussion on Naso's religious beliefs, he claimed to be "half Catholic, half Christian."

Another time, when talking about his Christian background, I asked with which denomination he identified. I started listing Protestant denominations: "Baptist, Methodist, Episcopalian, Pentecostal..." His response: "Uh...the one with the 'E.'"

Well, Episcopalian is certainly half Catholic, half Christian.

Do not post anything illegal on this forum.  If you f**kers get Dave in trouble, you deserve to burn in hell over it.

BRTD:
This is such a glorious day.  Gay marriage has finally been legalized via court mandate and that means I can finally be with my beloved opebo........FOREVER.
opebo: Oh god no.  To think I would approve of such a harmful and backwards institution as marriage, especially with you!
BRTD: NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!! NANANANOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Context is king:

GPorter is not mentally handicapped AFAIK. He admitted to be dyslexic, which is just as pointless as a serial killer admitting to be kleptomaniac. If he really were (which I see no reason to assume), then probably banning him would be the best thing to do for him. Otherwise, he's simply a troll who likes to say inanities.

I am so mentally handicapped (at least using the standard set by this forum) that I demand everybody immediately start ignoring every post I've ever made because I really can't help it because of my mental defect!

I'll keep that in mind Tongue

What did I say that was 'looool'-worthy?  (Is that pronounced as spelled, by the way?  Like 'drool'?)

looool means Legitimate Opinion with Obviously Objective and Ordered Logic.

If the burgers are greasy enough you dont even need any condiments.

But that's the problem with Big Macs.  They're not greasy.  I'm not even sure they use real meat.  Nor do their cheeseburgers have cheese.  It's partially-hydrogenated cottonseed oil and the like.  McDonalds food generally tastes like cardboard.

Now, there's a vietnamese dude who runs a little burger joint in Arlington, Texas that has burgers so greasy that you can use them to wax your car.  Grilled mushrooms and onions and two slices of swiss cheese melted on the half-pound, high-fat ground beef patty.  Mmmmm.  I can't remember the name of the place, but it was next to a white supremacist bar.  That bar had "She Went Home With a n" and other country favorites on the jukebox.  They hosted dart tournaments.  Anyway, that vietnamese dude stayed open late and served excellent burgers to the drunken patrons as they exited the bar.  Those were good burgers.

You can't make up characters like angus Wink

The Twilight author is a Mormon.

Well, that explains why the number of people who'd never vote a Mormon rose substantially the last decade.

Nerds go to the polling place and pretend to be legally blind so that they can have the voting machine speak the ballot to them in Mandarin Chinese.

Seriously guys, if you ask Cantor why he entered public service, will he answer "to help other people" while keeping a straight face?

What's your definition of "other people?"

Cantor's is "Isreal", certainly.

Ah, but dead0man wins the thread with the 'straight face' tactic:

turn offs - enthusiasm about anything
turn ons - willingness to hang out with me

Let's have some more political analysis from the Wisest of the Wise Soothsayers:

The GOP had better nominate Mitt Romney, or the Beehive State might be shaky for a Republican nominee. Utah has some Democrats, and those would probably be enough to defeat several of those nominees.

Someone hasn't been paying attention.

Now please keep in mind, America: it's the Republican leadership that's acting childish, not the individual that stormed out of negotiations.

Yes, someone hasn't been paying attention: you. This isn't a place for you to complain about politics.
