I love this exchange.

Just googled her, I don't read fiction so that explains it. So my lack of knowledge of female fiction writer somehow sums me up? At least I admit things like that instead of running to Google every time to pretend I know something I don't(like Link).

Franz Kafka was a man.

A pearl of exotic beauty that had to be dug out of that horrible mudhole of a thread.

Honestly it is hard to believe and terribly disturbing that one meets persons here who have not read Kafka.  What is the point of engaging suchlike?

Do you find it Kafkaesque?

Heidi Heitkamp is probably the single most popular and beautiful politician in all of South Dakota. I will be floored if she loses.

If Herman Cain were white:

He'd be hounded by charges that he fathered two black children.

Hey, I like Justin Bieber.  I'm not a fan of his music, per se, but I like him as a person.  I've read a little bit of his biography and he seems to be a good, Christian kid.  We definitely need more good, Christian people in the music industry.  They don't have to necessarily be in the Christian music genre, but at least represent Christ in such a way that honors and glorifies him.  The band U2, while not a Christian band per se, are strong Christians.  Even KISS became a Christian not too long ago.

Was it just a typo, or does he think KISS is one man?

North Korea as Liberia is one of the only three countries in the world (along with the US and Burma) that doesn't use metric. I would enjoy overthrowing the corrupt government and reuniting with South Korea.

Some more examples:

That's one huge France!

Holy crap, that wasn't just a careless mistake.  It really took some effort to get it that wrong.

Charlemagne lives!  Smiley

Looking at it again, it looks like the background map is too small a scale.  That one might be a technical error, as opposed to stupidity.

That doesn't explain how Toulouse is east of Lyon.

Toulouse is off, but the rest would be right on a larger scale map.
No, Lyon and Cannes should both be East of Paris.

oh jayjay...

Even if it's a scale issue, it's a pretty dramatic one.  I mean, Strausbourg is out hanging out with Stuttgart in that map.

I voted Romney, though Dr Paul or the Spic would do fine as well.

Bachmann or Santorum are too like real life evil. People don't pay to be reminded of what it's actually like. They can have that at a PTA meeting.

Rasmussen Obama (National)

We are reaching a point where the Gallup numbers will become important.  If, beginning next week, Obama starts dropping below 40% and stays there on the weekly numbers, it is probably over.

How right you are my lumpy little student. November 7th is "Official Gallup Becomes Important Day".

None of you have a sense of humor.

Then again, this wasn't all that funny.

Herman Cain has an Atlas account.

Yeah, unless they're bleeding all over the food or something.

I'm pretty sure that that applies even if they aren't HIV-positive.
