I like the Bain line.  Might give you the biggest profits but it's no way to run a country.
Yes, that was a good line. I only wonder where Biden stole it from.

There is something horribly wrong with an education system which leds people to think this, its the equivalent of 50% of americans coming out of maths thinking 2+2=5.

Evolution is a total scam. Everyone knows that a Pikachu with a held light ball is far more effective than a equally-leveled Raichu with equal EV and IVs. It's just another cheap marketing ploy from the sagging evolution stone industry.

Raichu's base stats are higher though...

It got better:

Alright, whatever Lt. Surge. Yeah, maybe without held items, but with max EVs, Pikachu becomes the dominant electric type in the UU tier of the competitive Pokemon battling scene. A Pikachu with a held light ball even hits harder than a Raichu holding a zap plate. Stop shilling for the big evolution stone corporations. It's all a scam, man.

If Mod edits are eligible, then I think this applies:

After the successful DNC - probably the most successful party convention in 50 years - everyone I know who was on the fence is supporting our President because they believe in moving forward, not back.

Friendly Mod Edit: It's really cool that you're super excited about the DNC, but it'd probably be a good idea to calm down the hyperbole a bit. Also, just some advice, it's probably not a good idea to use so many campaign speech platitudes when you post here because most people probably aren't going to take you seriously. Nothing personal, of course, just offering some constructive criticism.

If that really is more of your thing, though, I'd suggest creating your own homemade Obama ads and uploading them to Youtube. Maybe give them a misleading title like "YOU WON'T BELIEVE JUSTIN BIEBER DID THIS ON STAGE" to ensure a wider (and more impressionable) viewing audience. Not saying you should, of course, just brainstorming here with ya. If you do, feel free to send me a PM and I'd love to assist! Also, congrats on the thousand posts.

This is the most tragic thing to happen in Verona since those two star-crossed lovers killed themselves in a tragic misunderstanding.

Also, favourite? You've joined the honourable side, Jake!

I'm not sure they'll show up, because whenever I try to put a picture on here, it shows up with a broken link symbol.  But I'll try:

Dude the reason they're showing up as broken is because the links you are posting are from pictures on your computer and thus are only visible by you. You have to use a url from a website. Like this:

Fun fact: I consistently use British spellings except in my academic work and on this forum.

Obama's speech was not the highlight of the convention. Maybe this is why he choked?

Well, the Great Adventure lasted about 3 weeks.  Jesus Christ, Superstar is apparently what he learned.  There was a drawing of a stick figure guy with long hair climbing a burning building.  I think I mentioned that.  I asked what he drew at the Great Adventure and he said it was Jesus.  Jesus was capable of "saving" people, you see, and I guess in the boy's mind "saving" people was something like being big enough to climb the outside of a burning building and reach in there and fetch them out.  One day I suppose he'll watch King Kong and think of Jesus.  And he'll wonder why the helicopters are shooting at him for saving Faye Ray.

Anyway, I guess I never much though about crucifixion till I read the post that you can't do it to yourself.  I figured on being a smart-alek about it, then after I typed all that it occurred to me to Google "suicide by crucifixion."  I really didn't think it'd turn anything up.  The internet is great, ain't it?

Democrat: I'm better off now than I was four years ago.

Republican: You're crazy! Look at how many people are out of work! Look at the deficit!

Democrat: But the Dow and the S&P 500 have gone up. American companies are making record profits.

Republican: You're so out of touch! That means nothing to real Americans on Main Street!

Democrat: So you're finally admitting trickle-down economics doesn't work?
